In 2007 GTL began its venture in mainland China, establishing an office in the city of Shanghai.
GTL has long standing relationships with its producer-partners in South America and maintains a local office and manager in Argentina. Suppliers that are represented by GTL have undergone close scrutiny and are considered to be at the forefront of their respective fields of production. All of our producer -partners export with great success to the most demanding markets such as the United States, Great Britain and the European Union. As a direct importer, GTL is able to offer previously unavailable culinary and oenological treasures at extremely competitive prices. Our goal is to be the reference point of quality regarding specialty foods and wine originating from South America in the Chinese market!
Since the beginning of the 20th century, our grandparents, Spanish immigrants, dedicated their lives to small scale cultivation of vineyards. We have decided to continue with that tradition, creating a family company to last for future generations.
The Mayol project started in 1990, when our family purchased our first vineyard in Tupungato. Today, we own 3 properties (Montuiri, Sebastian, and Pircas) located in the main viticultural areas of Mendoza, where we grow different varieties, according to the micro-climate and altitude of the vineyard.
Familia Mayol¡¯s winery is located in Valle de Uco. This area has seen the largest development in viticulture and new, state-of-the-art, wineries in South America for the last decade
