Viniterra is a Winery thought for human scale dimensions, which means that it is absolutely controlled by man in all its processes because of its volumes and capacity. Viniterra´s goal is to keep being a Winery dedicated to the elaboration of fine wines with a strong orientation towards exports, but still maintaining an important presence in the domestic market.
The winery is located at the foothills of the Andes, in an area defined as having its own personality, in the region of Luj¨¢n de Cuyo, which has a weather that permits the growing of noble varieties. It is known as the birthplace of the Argentine Malbec wine. In this ideal context of the combination of the soil, weather, and water, a landmark is founded with the background of a trajectory of nearly half a century that nowadays provides a wide range of products, from young wines to wines aged in oak.
Adriano Senetiner, is the main shareholder of VINITERRA S.A, since the year 1999. Winemaker with post-degree in the year 1961 in Conegliano, Veneto, Italy. His relation with the National vine-growing industry goes back to the year 1958, during 10 years as technician in dependence relationship, and later as partner founder of ¡°Nieto & Senetiner Winery¡±, whose presidency he exercised from the beginning. Of long viticulture industry trajectory, Adriano, was president of the Center of Winemakers of Mendoza during two periods of five and three years respectively. In the year 1998 he sold the group P¨¦rez Companc his stock shares and he took part of Viniterra at the beginning of 1999.
