GTL has long standing relationships with its producer-partners in South America and maintains a local office and manager in Argentina. Suppliers that are represented by GTL have undergone close scrutiny and are considered to be at the forefront of their respective fields of production. All of our producer -partners export with great success to the most demanding markets such as the United States, Great Britain and the European Union. As a direct importer, GTL is able to offer previously unavailable culinary and oenological treasures at extremely competitive prices. Our goal is to be the reference point of quality regarding specialty foods and wine originating from South America in the Chinese market!
Familia Schroeder¡¯s vineyards are located at 39¡ã South Latitude, in San Patricio del Chañar 53km northwest of the capital city of Neuquen in northern Patagonia, Argentina. Low humidity, very long summer sunlight hours, a day/night temperature difference of 70¡ãF and the proverbial Patagonian winds combined with a good draining soil consisting of pebbles, gravel, sand and clay that outline this unique terroir. The pioneer spirit of the Schroeder¡¯s gave birth to a place with outstanding architectonic characteristics, geared towards the main goal of the company: the search for excellence and quality.
Exporting to more than 20 countries, and awarded in national and international wine contests, this young company stimulates the mobilization of new sustainable resources to the flourishing economy of the province of Neuquen. The winery has 120 hectares planted with the following varieties: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The vineyards are watered with a drip irrigation system with snow melting water. Planted downwards the slope, the distribution of the vineyards allows a better selection of the bunches during harvest time.
